I draw character art and I post it in the forums for pickup under "off topic." Is it illegal to post something like "check out my minecraft character art at __link: Character Art Thread! | Skyblock Forums___"?

I'm interested in charging for it too.

So is that illegal? Or is it just illegal to spam/advertise mod apps/youtube channels?

I'm almost sure its illegal to advertise form links in game unless its completely relevant to whats going on in chat, like if somone asks for a list of illegal items to trade you can post the link, But I think you can send any link to the forms in a private message. I could be wrong, its just what I think, so correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes, you are correct, but yes advertising mod applications is illegal in any way, even asking ppl to look at it in game is not good.
