Do you think this punishment was incorrect? No, it was correct, and I understand why and how my actions resulted in this ban. Why should you be unbanned? I believe that I could have been better, and being 17, I should demonstrate responsibility and maturity, however these actions were irresponsible and I should have considered what I was doing prior to doing it, and the implications it might have on this servers reputation, and the issues it may bring up regarding the Minecraft EULA. (I think that's why this rule is a thing at least) I wouldn't dare try this again, as I now understand that this server condemns IRL trading, and I genuinely do try to follow the rules, and stay within the limits of the server, as I respect the time and effort the staff & owners put into this server, and would hate to cause trouble for the wonderful staff team. the actions I took are unacceptable by any means, and I take full responsibility for my actions, and will not try to find a scapegoat for this situation. I also understand why the server staff must put a ban in place, however I don't think that it is entirely fair that I must suffer the consequence as I was not aware the "IRL Trading" rule was enforced, as I have seen many people openly doing it; on economy I've seen people selling amazon gift cards 50,000 skybucks : 1 USD, on SB I saw someone a couple days ago selling a D400 account, I've seen people offer me accounts for grass, and all sorts of offers I'm sure staff would never have seen go on, and I honestly thought that because of that, this rule was quite minor, and was not really followed. That is the main reason I did this, because I thought that even if I was caught, mods would treat this as a very mild ban. I do however know I should've known better and understood the situation I put myself in was wrong and that it was against the rules which I strive to follow. This is my first ever time being ban for IRL Trading, and my first time being ban for something illegal in 2 years. and I truly believe I can do better, and ensure something of this magnitude never happens again, I also believe that everyone deserves second chances, and can learn from their mistakes. I constantly try to change and improve myself as I move through life, and learn vital lessons along the way, this being one of them. I understand that this was unacceptable, and will ensure if a situation like this presents itself again, I will be better, and not break the rules as I did. in conclusion, this appeal clearly demonstrates that I care about this server, and put the time in to write a well thought-out appeal. I also regret the actions I took, and know I can do better as a person, and aim to demonstrate that train of thought that I can do better through ensuring I don't break the SB rules that I genuinely normally follow. I didn't want to reply to your appeal straight away. I still wanted you to face the consequences of your actions - I still wanted you to understand that what you did was serious, and as a somewhat well-known member of our community, you should know this. Alright sounds good, Didn't realize thats what you meant by "I will reply to this appeal later on when I get some time", if i knew thats what you meant I wouldn't have tried pushing a reply. Firstly, I would just like to thank you for your patience. This proves to me that you're willing to cooperate with me, which I am thankful for. I just want you to know that I will be unbanning you. I was going to post my original essay-long response but thought I would make it short and snappy instead for you. I made you wait out a majority of this ban as a punishment - attempting to IRL Trade is a real offence, and I want you to understand that you still will be punished, regardless of how well-known you are to the community, your previous history, and the fact that you appealed before being banned, and so on. Hope you understand my reasonings behind this. I would also like to thank you for taking full responsibility for your actions, and explaining why you choose to do this and telling me that you won't do this again - I completely trust you that you will not.
