On other Minecraft forums, there's an auto-send private message to any player that joins the server directly from the admin. The player cannot respond to the message, but it gives some beginner information for joining the forums. For example: Welcome to the forums! In this tab called "Inbox," you can create, read, and view conversations. On the tab to your right will be the alerts, which shows all alerts on the forum. To the right of that is your username. There, you can personalize your profile page, edit information, and much more. Happy Fighting for Glory! I believe that this would be useful for all new forum members to allow them to know how to do some basic stuff, such as posting a status instead of a comment, not knowing how to make a conversation, etc.
