If you have been on the .org server, you would know that there is an island at the spawn that contains some cobblestone generator examples. However, I also think there should be an infinite water source example on that island. The example will be able to teach newer players on how to build a simple infinite water source. (After all, there are two ice blocks are generated on a new island at the .org server.)

Good question.

It could be used for decoration (though it will probably melt). Also, if something goes wrong with the creation of an infinite water source, the ice could be used as a backup.

While that would fall under the category of decoration, it does sound like a fun idea

 

Infinite water sources are pretty widely known, I even mess up on cobble generators from time to time.
