Recently Mojang changed their End User License Agreement (EULA) and it says here that
"You are allowed to sell in-game items so long as they don’t affect gameplay
We don’t mind you selling items in game, but they must be purely cosmetic. Pets, hats, and particle effects are OK, but swords, invincibility potions, and man-eating pigs are not. We want all players to be presented with the same gameplay features, whether they decide to pay or not."
This means that servers cannot have donor kits with items that give players an advantage over players who do not donate. On this server you can donate to get kits with stuff like grass and iron. Even though I and a lot of donors don't like it, it is Mojang's rule so sadly the kits have to be removed. As it says here there was a grace period for servers to change this but that grace period was until August 1. It is August 22 and way past the grace period! Also the /fly command cannot be included in donor features as said here.
If you have any questions, please click one of the links above.

If i am wrong about any of this please tell me.

    Donor kits are allowed.
    Unfair advantages aren't. :p

Regarding /fly, it's debatable (I don't know if Mojang gives a damn whether or not it's debatable lol) since it's more of a tool and aid, rather than a unfair advantage. It makes building easier. This, of course, does not include the intention of griefing other islands, since that's illegal either way.
But on World Guarded islands (such as .Org) then why not? It makes everything a lot easier.
And if the fall damage is the concern, then I'm sure it could be managed to remove that "unfair advantage".
It's not like you are PvP'ing on your island, is it? :p

I am not sure if you are right and donor kits aren't unfair advantages or not. I will see what other people have to say about this.

Look, we are not selling perks. These are gifts bestowed on those who donate to the server. If anything, we can wait until we get a warning from Mojang.

While it does give players an advantage, it does not make it unfair, since Skyblock.net is not a competition.

However, what needs to be debated is the God kit in mob arena.

To be honest. Mojang needs to screw off. They don't know that this is affecting so many people in a bad way. They are being idiots and not thinking of the consequences. Who cares if servers are making money off your game. Be happy they are even playing your game. Or the fact they even bought it.

the reason that they did this was that some idiot kids used their parents' credit cards to pay servers 50k to be un-banned. The parents sued Mojang instead of the server because that is where the money is. They shouldn't even be suing anybody. It's their kids' fault. What they should have done was make their kids pay it off over the next 30 years.

EULA stands for End User License Agreement. It is basically something you have to agree to, to play Minecraft.

Who gives a damn about Mojang and EULA? Some people pay for their perks, and to keep the server up. The non-donors aren't complaining its unfair, (at least on this server) Mojang is an idiot for making new EULA rules. And watch them not earn any money at all. Without donations, people can't run servers. Not being able to run servers, means no one would play minecraft anymore. And most people don't want to donate for the sheer act of donating. They donate, and the server thanks them by giving them perks. Everyone agrees to that. It's not unfair to non-donators either. All non-donators has the choice to donate, some chose not to. It's not "unfair" at all

They will start with the big ones. Hypixel has already started to reform even before the deadline. Then they will work their way down the line. They won't get all the little ones, but Skyblock isn't a little one. My guess is that the current donors will remain mostly the same, but people won't be able to get certain perks from future donations. Pets will stay the same obviously as will talking in color. I'm not sure about tpa, but I would like to see non-donors get that. I think /fly and /jump probably will remain. The kits however will probably be removed except maybe for people who are already donors. Again this is just a guess.

Not all of them have the money to donate. Most of them don't really. On Skyblock, the difference between donor and non-donor, in status, is drastically different, but it isn't horribly different with regards to island building and collecting supplies especially since most of the well-known/active donors will do things for free. On other servers however there are tons of pvp advantages that put donors far beyond the normal players.
