I decided to check out the server after not being online for ages and I was looking for new players to help and was trying to help someone reset their island but forgot the command and I was trying to remember them and I decided to type /newisland yes to confirm it was still a command and after doing so it reset my island.

Stuff Lost:

- 3 Beacons.
- LOTS Of Quartz.
- Double Chests Of Coloured Wool.

 

If you’re looking for staff to return your items, it’s highly unlikely that’s going to happen since this was a player mistake and even after using /newisland yes, you are given island choices, as well as multiple warnings before about your inventory clearing and your island resetting. Hopefully someone might be generous enough to donate something, good luck!

 

There was no warning. I typed newisland yes and it just instantly reset thats why its a bit confusing.

 

There are warnings when you type /newisland and it’s in the chat box..

 

I typed /newisland yes to check if its still a command and you are usually suppost to type /newisland replace before hand which I did not do before typing /newisland yes.

 

That sucks :/ that should be a thing for safety/ informative purposes :(

boba is right. you basically have 2 chances to actually confirm that you want to reset your island, so most likely, the player is at fault, so the chance of you getting back your items are highly unlikely, unless someone wants to be kind enough to donate to you. good luck tho.

i have no idea how this came across for you and I'm sorry that happened, considering you have to first type /newisland replace and then /newisland yes, i guess if it was a bug in which you think you deserve your items back, then you'd need screen recording proof of you singlehandedly typing /newisland yes without typing anything else before hand, then that may grant you your items back. but without that proof, it won't happen for you. and i'm also not sure if you typed /newisland replace a while ago before that moment and you had forgotten about and then typed /newisland yes at that moment, idk.

 

This seems like it would be very easy to test? I don't care about my island on classic and would be glad to do so but I'm not at my computer right now. All somebody has to do is type /newisland yes and see if it instantly resets

yea if it is a bug, then someone should test it. hopefully you can soon when you get a chance Qoby because I do care about my island on /classic so I don't want to. But RobloxIsTrash since you just reset your island, unless you made some progress with your new island, i suggest start screen recording your screen and type /newisland yes and see if that resets your island. then at that point, lets see if Kerahna can do anything for you, cuz it seems like it's a bug. if just typing /newisland yes doesn't do anything for you, then I'm sorry, but you probably won't get your items back unless it's thru donations

 

I just typed it and it said you have nothing to confirm so i'm assuming ages ago when I was online I must have typed it and then typed it later on forgetting but I would have assumed that that command would have had like an expiry? Like type /newisland yes within 10 seconds to confirm who would have thought it would last until you log off or something.
