I don't understand why its post farming. Every time I get on I check the recent threads to see if anyone put out mod applications so I could read them and help support or fix what they are doing wrong. I believe this shouldn't count as post farming.

Also, I just wanted to clear the air. People are saying i
m post farming by commenting again on things. Well I have bad memory and also I usually just click on the most recent post and congrat people. Sometimes I get sidetrack and forget I have already done commented on it.

You might not realise it, but sometimes you do it. It happens to everyone, we just need to be careful! I'll add two examples which I think could be considered post farming, although I'm not completely sure.

 

To be honest, I do that often, but not like 20 threads in like 3 minutes and as long is you aren't posting every single second in areas where your message counts go up then you're alright


off topic threads don't increase your message count so to post often in different threads isn't really an issue, unless you're replying to every single thread from the last two pages.

 

I was pointed out that I was posting too much before, so nowadays I post meaningful, impactful, and productive comments/post. But again we are human so we make mistakes regardless of how small or big, just know that we can learn from our mistake and not repeat it.

I mean I don't watch your comments on threads so I don't know if you are post farming now, but you have post farmed in the past to be able to apply for mod. So due to that, the people who knew that happened are going to be a bit more cautious of your activity on forums.

 

Exactly what she said. Just to clarify, if you are going to rate neutral / no support, it's always better to give feedback, since people want to know what to do better or why you left that rating.
