MY Ban Reason - I believe I was banned for leaving dirt inside a chest at Skybase for a random player to keep.

Incorrect Ban - No, because technically I performed an illegal act by moving dirt into a public chest. If anyone had grabbed it, it would have been considered a "trade."

Banned Before on Skyblock? In so what for... - Nope. I've never been banned before.

Unban Reason - I'd unban myself because invested much time into Skyblock and I've learned to not put, trade, or pick up dirt and all other illegal items through chests. Sorry, if I had broken any rule. That I shall not perform the same mistake again for I know that I will be banned again. Thank you for taking your precious time to read this appeal.

 

Ok before I start, I would like you to know that this is my first ban appeal, so i apologise in advance if i make any mistakes.

Now, you placed 108 dirt in a chest at skybase, and left it there.
Where did you get this dirt from?

 

I obtained the dirt from fallen players in /warp mob over time and as well as placing grass and destroying it accidentally. There were times I grabbed dirt from other players through the Skybase public chest since they didnt want it.

 

Are you aware that that is an illegal trade. Even if you did not know who put it there, it becomes a trade once it has been taken out.
I do understand why you did what you did. If you dont want dirt you cant throw it into the void, so what you did is understandable. But breaks our rules here.

Before we continue I would like you to read a few rules..

The server has lots of illegal items that can't be traded. The list is pretty big, so it can be over whelming. It is best to message a mod or donor if you are unsure if an item is illegal. This is the list and why. (This list is for .net, it is different per server)

1. Dirt (Starter item, you can vote for grass blocks (turns to dirt))
2. Sand based items [Sand, Sandstone, Smooth Sandstone, Chiseled Sandstone, Stairs Sandstone, TNT] (Starter item, donate to get a kit to get more) [Glass, Stained Glass, Glass Panes, Stained Glass Panes, and Glass Bottles are allowed on .Net. Only Glass bottles on .Org]
3. Silverfish Spawn Eggs (Can be used to grief without creating logs)
4. Steve and Wither Skull Heads (Never released & Withers)
5. Buckets [All Types] (Starter item, get more by getting iron)
6. Sponge (Creative only, Legal on .org!)
7. Bedrock (Creative only)
8. [.org ONLY] Ice (Water does not freeze)
9. [.org ONLY] Unnatural Enchants [God enchants, Enchanted stick] (High Donor perk)
10. Podzol (Not sold by traders, on starter islands sometimes due to glitches)

I am now aware that any form of receiving dirt through trading is illegal, not just dirt but including all of the illegal-to-trade items.

 

You say you have read the rules, multiple times.
Did you just forget this rule?

 

I have read the rules; and yes multiple times. I didn't forget, but I didn't not know just leaving them in the chest when another player could come at anytime and grabbing them would be considered a trade.

If I were to unban you, what will you do with all the dirt/sand that you do not want?

 

If I was to be unbanned, I'd leave the dirt in my own private chests or decide to throw them in the void to be cleared away.

 

Throwing/dropping dirt is disabled, you must keep it.

Ok I am going to unban you. But, if this incident is to occur again, unbanning a second time will be much harder.
