Well someone has been irritating me on .Org today, see my latest report if you are bothered. Anyway I know the best thing to do with trolls is just ignore them until they go away or are banned, but when people are insulting you by name in the chat it can be hard to just ignore them and not get angry. And I'm a measured 27yo, I'm sure younger hot headed players could more easily be goaded into responding to a troll like that. I guess that's why /ignore exists, to allow us to stop these sorts of players from bothering us. Like Larry said...

But time and time again, when annoyed by someone on .Org I do /ignore on them and it does nothing. Apparently it works in /msg but not for global chat. Why on earth not for global? Wouldn't that be really useful for times like these? And also for those times that a spambot sometimes finds their way in... Anyway please fix /ignore for us

 

No /ignore just ignores their msg's to you

 

Ah I see. Thanks Krissy that explains a few things. If this could be made to work on .Org the same way as .Net I'm sure loads of players would find it useful isn't there local chat on .Net?

It'd be nice to have for players, excluding staff since we shouldn't /ignore someone.
