Not as much as an actual suggestion but more of a possible concept that could be interesting to some, and continuing off my suggestion of Skyblock - Ignore Glass Blocks for /island,home,visit | Skyblock Official Site, I've had some ideas about some possibilities! I do want to apologies in advance because I have a very rough understanding of the mechanics of this suggestion, I just have enough knowledge of this for my own brain to know of its existence but im not sure if its enough to explain it clearly so please bare with me haha

I really don't suspect this would ever be added, but it could be interesting and really fun if Wall/Fence blocks could be ignored when in its singular state (Singular: I I I )
but become a 'solid' block when being in the connecting state
    (Connected: I-I-I )
(a block ontop: I-T-I ) (This "T" is the state I would consider to become 'solid')
that would become a block that you could spawn on that way you can have a redstone mechanic that could let you instantly change what Y level your island spawn is at

I'm going to be focusing on Wall Blocks more than fences. If you didn't know, Wall Blocks had a update years ago that allows them to be more functionally like 'walls' where its a thin slice of block vertically which gives them an alternative state.

Wall blocks states can be slightly even more different when a block is connected to it, and with a piston and observer I imagine you can have instant vertical redstone,

Having a system like this you could connect it to a hub where you could have buttons to select which level you'd like to change your spawn to and doing so would allow you to have multiple spawn areas I suppose, and would be a fun concept for more island designs but even a cool way for greenies/non-rank members to explore their Y level for islands specifically with the restrictions of not being able to have as much control over where their spawn area could be.

I'm not a redstone person, and I know if you really wanted a system like this you could already do it so you're not really missing out on anything, but I don't know I think this is just an interesting concept.

I'm really not explaining this very clear, but I strongly recommend you to mess around with walls and blocks and just see how they interact with one another, theres an oddity to them that I find fun and interesting and could see a lot of potential for something like this :D
