I am not sure how many people (if any) know me, but my IGN is 21Blackj4ck, and used to be radiationdocjr.

I joined .NET in late 2013, and had a hell of a time playing it. So much so, that about 6 months later I applied for a MOD position. Needless to say, it was bad. It had one reply, and surprisingly it was NUETRAL

I have been on and off the server ever since then, leaving for a while, then coming back in April 2015, but leaving soon after. I have recently* come back to the server and forums, forgetting that I was a $50 donor. From there, I have tried my best to befriend some of the other players that play .NET, but I don't think I am doing a very good job :c

I have reconnected (if you could call it that, which she does hopefully X3) with an ex-mod, Dewmellon, who was mainly friends with my brother Gilrix

Gilrix was the one who really got me to be active on this server for so long, and ironically, he doesn't play very much anymore. I am the active one on a gigantic island, all by my lonesome :c

ANYWAY....

The reason I am writing this post up is because 1) I really want to make some friends on this server (I'm not that desperate, am I?), 2) I want to be more active on the forums (27 posts is a new record), and 3) I want to eventually apply for a .NET mod position.

Recently I though about applying, but only being back for a few weeks probably wouldn't look good on an app . What I am really looking for here is some advice and support (non-support is perfectly acceptable cX) in trying to make up my mind on whether or not I should apply.

TO THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW ME
Get to know me! I am 16 years old (17 in 25 days!), I live in Oregon, USA, and I am very much into any and all things SPACE. I am also a really big fan of taking a metal detector outside to go and detect..... you guessed it, metal! I am currently a Junior, and have pretty good grades, and because of those good grades, I can play this server more and more without having to worry too much about school!

If you feel I should go ahead and Apply, great! If you feel I shouldn't apply, great! If you feel I should spend more time as a part of the community before applying, great!!! I am looking for solid, friendly advice, and some chit chat

I really, really appreciate any and all replies, friendly or non-friendly!

What I did was I first made the crappiest mod app (I put effort but it was still crappy). Remember all the feedback of others and after like 2-3 weeks, reapply

Not all comments can be great at first. Just keep on improving all the time like all of us do. Only apply when you feel like, I know that some comments can be cruel

 

If you need people's opinions about it, you're still sceptical. Only apply until you know you want to.

 

This isn't an application.

Also, I recommend that you catch up a bit with the server before applying. Good luck.

My opinion is that you should apply if you think you are ready and fit for the job. It's if you want to apply, your choice. >-<

 

Just make sure you think you're ready before applying, it always helps to be confident. Good luck btw

-Get use to the community.
-Start being active and helping people.
-Make sure you are active on both the server and forums.
