Any of you know Visual Basic enough to create an FBI kind of virus? (Computer shows a screen that blocks all keyboard commands until you pay with MoneyPak or similar). It is a project I am doing for CS (computer science), and I need to have some sort of pass code that I can enter to bypass the lock screen, instead of paying a ransom.
Hm. I don't usually do anything to do with viruses. The most I would do is ratting, or keylogging. I haven't done a 'virus' where people are demanded to pay a ransom to use the computer... Find someone on Tor. lmao. They can probably show you the best way to do it and get away with doing it to random people.
youtube worked...but the viruses are crap, however that's what I need. plus ransomware is not worth the risk/reward. Adware is safer and will turn you a nice profit. but yeah.
I doubt a school would make you dabble in black-hatting as a project, making a virus isn't illegal in itself, but this can lead to students testing it out and getting in trouble. I asked the same thing in highschool if it was possible to make a virus in class and was promptly told no. Also refrain from speaking on the subject, if you must I suggest you go to a dedicated forum about the subject and not a forum for a Minecraft server.
