Yes, your rank will remain when you change your name.

When doing so, you will also be able to access your island, just make sure you remove any tradeshops or lockettes with your old name.

Yes. It's all done by player UUIDs, you won't lose anything. This includes inventories and enderchests.

It's the same across all servers on this network.

Each minecraft account has one, it's a unique code to identify which account is which, I do believe.
