How to install Stranded islands?

    Once you downloaded the file (you may have to extract it if its a zip) you copy and paste the folder into your minecraft saves folder.
    You can do this by typing %appdata% in your search bar of my documents, or run box, or start menu.
    Then locate the .minecraft folder
    and finally the saves folder. You should see all the worlds you have saved. Copy and paste the folder here.

    Or if you have a Mac, click the 'resource packs' button, open the resource pack file and drag the stranded Islands map into 'saves'

    Then go back into MC

    Its only 1.8 :b the chest will be empty if you play it on anything lower
