Okay, so firstly, when you hear someone saying, "You need to be more active on the server," or, "You're very active on the server, " you probably think of logging into the server for at least 4-5 hours a day, or something similar to this. However, being what society has defined as active, is not enough to be considered INVOLVED within the community. Being involved with the community is caring about it, and caring for it.

Firstly, let's talk about caring about our skyblock community. Basically what this means is wanting the community to be better, wanting the community to be stronger, and wanting to make the community better and stronger. If you care about the server, then something happening such as a grief on someone else's island would legitimately concern you. If one was to not care about the server, this scenario wouldn't provoke any concern, most likely because it's not their own property to worry about. Every once in a while, I'll see someone in the chat talking about how someone had bridged to their island, looted their chests, or griefed their island. This sort of thing provokes concern for me, and I'll often /tpa to them and take some screenshots to report it on the forums for them. I'm sure many of you do this as well, which shows that you care about the community.

Now, let's discuss caring FOR the server. I explained before what it means to care about the server and the community, but caring for it is when you actually take action in effect of something that you care about. As said previously, I'll take screenshots of griefs and report them to the forums. This is an example of caring for the server. It could be much easier to just be pitiful for them, then walk away, but taking action is actually making a difference— You can't only have the milk, you need the milk and the eggs to make a cake.

Finally, let's talk about some other ways you can show caring for our community, or at least ways that I show my caring for it that I recommend to you. One thing I'll often do is warn people who are using swearing or any inappropriate language of their possibilities of getting banned. Secondly, if you're dealing with something, and you can't help anyone at the moment, know that that's completely understanding. But most people won't be able to telekinesis/mind control their way into your brain to get that information. You should say something like, "I'm doing something important right now, so I might not be able to help you. Sorry, but I'd suggest asking someone else for the time being."
