How reliable are Enderchests?

    Recently I saw a post saying that enderchests are unreliable and are prone to resets. Is this true? Are regular chests more reliable? And can those reset or glitch too?

    Ender chests get wiped sometimes. It's fairly rare, but has happened many times before.
    Locked chests are far more reliable

    I always trust locked chests over enderchests. Of course i like to hopper loot protect mine, even if the threat is not really there

    I've honestly only ever heard of this happening once. If you don't trust your enderchest, simply screenshot it regularly. :)

    I keep my rares on hellblock and I never had an issues with this. If you have mixed feelings about this, just do what mind said ^^ Good luck!

    Personally I've lost 2 diamond axes in my enderchest, but that's it. I've heard of other people losing their entire enderchests.
    As mentioned, just screenshot it regularly for double safety.

    When you are online, s-mods can open your enderchest I think!

    Ive been playing for 2 years and in the 2 years I think enderchests have only been wiped twice.

    once from a crash and the second time I don't no if they where wiped but the command was taken away because u could get into anyones enderchest for some reason.
