How long should I wait before applying for moderator? I know it's quite the serious job, and that I should be committed to this server, (and I am) but what criteria should I have met before I can apply? Should I be a certain age, etc? Do a bunch of people have to know me? Please discuss this with me
You can apply at any age, and at any amount of time on this server. You should be striving to at least assist a lot in game as well and being around the forums, getting into the community and proving you are knowledgeable. Your chances do increase in being well known however its not a guarantee that if you are well known you will become mod. In my opinion, apply once you get active member on the forums and at least feel like people know who you are in game.

Wait, until you feel comfortable with the forums, and the server. Wait until you hit a certain amount of message, and ratings.
You don't necessarily have to be a certain age to apply, but you must be mature and prove that you are knowledgeable and committed. I recommend just helping around and getting used to the community. Good luck c:
I agree with everything above. Being well-known certainly helps, not because of popularity, but because you have gained the trust of a lot of people in the community and you are invested in it as well. So invest time in this server, get to know people, and always be trustworthy (as in never break the rules, help others, etc.)
Some people get promoted faster *cough* MaisaaPG OhWonder *cough* since they comunicate with others more, while some take longer to get promoted.
And also be patient about your application. As what livingShadowz mentioned "some take longer to get promoted"
Agreed. I was promoted about two hours after I applied. I still wonder how, sometimes. Some people's promotions took many months. You never really know what to expect, so never give up and always be patient.
Just go for it tbh, first day I joined the forums I applied and nobody knew who I was, there's some moderators I've never seen in my life before so people needing to know you isn't even a thing.
There's too much staff; don't even bother applying. Skyblock is getting worse and worse and it's starting to die quicker than it was before.
