Like does it make it make a new world, or like make an island out of render distance even if both islands are 199x199 (Max) if you flew far enough would you find other islands? I am so confused.
It's all in the same world. There is a space between islands, but I'm not sure exactly how much. You can fly and find other islands nearby, and if both of you build out should be able to see their island in render distance too.
Oh ok. I'll add on. All Islands are 99x99 in default size when u first start it and so are the islands around u. So when u build up to your island border there would be a huge empty space after it and some text popping up to buy an island expansion to build further more. If you want to buy an expansion just go to the shop and click on the Expansion category and buy it. There are 2 options, either 159x159 and the maximum size 199x199. If you decide to buy 199x199 island expansion and your neighbor has a 199x199 island too and has a 199x199 platform then if you decide to make a 199x199 platform then there would be no space between the 2 islands. For example, my island, /visit BertBerry if you keep going north of my island you would end up on Purplevillager1 's island (My neighbour). As you can see, the leaves blocks on the left represent my border and on the right represents purple's island's border=s
So if i bought a 199x199 island and my neighbor did aswell... we could go to each other's islands without using the /visit command? right?
Well yes, it would be like 1 big whole island. When you fly out and cross anyone's island border it will pop on your screen. Let me give you an example: When I visit my neighbour's island and cross her borders When I go back to my island and cross my island borders.
In simpler terms if you have a 199x199 island and someone next to you does too your islands edges will actually join however they will not be able to build on your island without trust. That means you can easily walk over to the other persons island if the islands are fully expanded.
