How do you know when you're on the verge?

Many of you might ask; "On the verge of what?".
You who know me, you know what.
You who are in a similar situation, you know aswell, without needing to know me.
If you need an answer to the aforenamed question, I don't think you should get involved.

Again, how do you know when you're on the verge?
We all have different experiences and reasoning. Some are more aware of ourselves than others, while others just don't know. Some of us are completely aware of ourselves and our conditions.
