How do I get nether quartz?

    How do I get nether quartz? When I try to mine it, nothing happens. It just breaks. How do I get it?

    The quartz rate is extremely low, it's possible to get it.

    Why would they put drop rates for QUARTZ!!! I just wanted my island to look nice...

    I wanted to make my tree farm instead use quartz, so I was planning to get like a stack

    Make sure you have fortune III on your pick. That way when it does drop, you will get more.
    Many donors will enchant it for free.

    No clue why they made the drop rate of quartz so low. I suggest it was just a economy decision, as Drogo said, make sure that you have fortune on your pick as it massively increases the drop rates. Although even then it’s still drastically low.
