Hello Hellblock Players,
I have completed the much requested Nether Farming plugin. This allows crops to grow faster in the nether without the use of bone meal. This allows crops to grow next to lava instead of water. All crops (except for sugar cane) must be within a 4 block radius of lava to grow correctly. Sugar cane must be located right next to lava to grow.

All crops must go through their stages of growth each stage and time is listed below

• Potatoes, carrots and wheat have 7 stages before they can be harvested and each stage takes 5 minutes
• Watermelon and pumpkins have 7 stages before they will produce a melon or pumpkin and each stage takes 4 minutes
• Sugar cane has 15 stages but instead every 8 minutes there will be a 50/50 chance of the sugar cane growing up 1 block

Current known bugs:

• Sugar canes disabled due to item duplication
  
• Sugar cane will break when it is 2 blocks high and drop on the ground. This is a minecraft related issue because its no longer next to water.
• Sugar cane can only grow on dirt but sand will be added after the above bug is corrected.

This be interesting, but a fun change. I guess i better add a spot near my far for safe lava.

 

Sorry everyone but I had to disable sugar cane farming because another glitch was found where a player could duplicate them and he was trying to sell the items

 

I AM OFFENDED I FOUND A GLITCH, SHOWED JUSTIN AND HE THINKS IM MAKING PROFIT???????

(Yes I did type into chat "Selling a stack of sugarcane" but just as a prank I would never sell something that valuable!)
(The ONLY reason I had so much is because Justin wasn't watching as i showed him the glitch, so I anded up with a lot)

I AM DEEPLY OFFENDED JUSTIN, I WOIULD NEVER (Not in Hell XD) SINK THAT LOW. YOU ACCUSE ME OF SOMETHING I WILL NOT EVEN POST.

I don't understand what was the glitch, cause I thought the point was sugar cane was to be grown near the lava?

 

Some How The Sugar Cane Duplicates it Self fast i dont know how i just know about the first bug i break only when 2 high

 

The bug was when you placed 2 sugar canes next to each other they would both break dropping 2 sugar canes but then the second sugar cane that was placed would magically reappear so you could then break it and get a third one

 

DANGIT!! Sugar cane was the only plant I actually wanted in this plugin but at least now I have another thing to say beginning with "I remember when hellblock didn't have…"

Its the easiest way to replicate the one that you were abusing
