So what I've been thinking fir a while, is why all of the grass blocks on the server just seem to magically disappear? It's quite frankly disappointing to me, as most people on this server like to make islands out of grass blocks, it's counter productive to have the server lacking so many grass blocks. What I suggest is, maybe indtead of just one grass block from voting, make it 5 blocks, or voting every 12 hours, and also adding more grass to kits, instead of having diamonds ruin the econemy. Thanks for reading.

Says the guy who is hoarding 6 DCs of grass. With people like you around it's no wonder that grass is scarce.

It's hard to conserve grass, I have a couple dc's because of the amount of time I've put into saving it. But skygods are over running the econemy, because of the amount of diamonds-grass ratio they get. 3 diamonds and 15 grass, the value doesn't make any sence what so ever, maybe decrease the amount of diamonds in skygods kits, or increase the amount of grass. But as it stands, skygods are going to crash the econemy soon.

The only thing I'm going to say. Skygods need to either stop spreading diamonds through out the econemy as fast as they are, or this servers econemy is soon to crash. My plan is to remove diamonds period, and make them illegal to own. So trading is better, and skygods aremt getting so rich that they can get away with a double chest of diamonds...

Lets just say by getting rid of diamonds from the server, the fall out is going to be worse than the grass disappearing. Why? because skygods most likely own most of the rares, if not that, then the older player who are mainly mods. And what will happen? rare hording. With out diamonds, would that mean our diamonds armor and tools will be taken? would iron become the price of diamonds. will the issues really be fixed? or will we find something to fill the void of diamonds, and the process will start again. Even if you remove diamonds, and make them illegal, you cant guarantee better trading because its up to every individual to trade when and how they want. And existing skygods and donors and non donors will all be punished.

No there is not a "lack" of grass on the server, new grass comes in everyday. However grass is being used as a building source, and that mean that currency is being destroyed as well as brought in game. And you know what? who honestly is not hording grass? im hording mine because i want to be able to buy things. with little chance of getting grass in MA, and a kit every 2 days, i really need to save up. You all are hording grass too. You want it to make builds and natural scapes! What is worrying is that with all our saving, non donors are unable to get grass and that is very unfair. The gap between rich and poor (much like real life) is widening.
The main goal for donors is getting rich. and we get it easy. but only very few want to play for fun. we now are talking about economies and removing normal minecraft items. and for what?

Do you want to know how to get out of this predicament? We need to spend more. we need to use the surplus diamonds and grass and even out this server. You have many stacks of grass? well guess what, you should either make something with them, spend them, or just give them away. Extra diamonds? use up a stack on armour and tools. Give away diamonds to non donors, skygod give half a stack to any non donor you want. get rid of those surplus items and then the server economy will get back to normal. Its the hording that is causing problems!

only then can we start reducing diamonds in the kits. it is a hard thing to do without upsetting skygods because they have paid so much to the server. but in the long run, it is a benefit.

It's as simple as the getting the "hoarders" of grass blocks to get some more out into the community

Like the idea... but maybe 2 grass, not 5, like Hellblock (2 Cobblestone per vote).

At one time during off peak (~3am PST) there was no less than 4 people Spamming in chat at the same time to buy grass by the stack for diamonds. >.<

Problem is, there's too many diamonds to take out from the server and too many going in every day

Net does not have an economy, it's been mentioned alot of times by cyp.

Reducing diamonds won't really help much.. and people donate because they want diamonds and things to make them rich.

Diamonds are a good way to store money instead of having a double chests of grass i could just have like a stack of diamonds worth 64 stacks of grass the problem is trying to find people selling stacks of grass that want to sell..
