The idea is similar to *redacted* Mayor system. I dont play *redacted* or know exactly how that system works BUT, hear me out. on a 1 or 2 week bases, we have a vote. Vote lasts all day on Saturday. Sunday morning we have the result. Players can run for governor & choose the weekly buffs & boons. These buffs & boons should be made to make manual farming certain mob drops, or crops more & less valuable. Every 1 or 2 weeks there is a new meta for manual farming. We need something to help relieve the numbness left by this AFK meta & give newer players a better chance to catch up to the best afk-ers.
I doubt this exact thing would work here but anything that would make up for the TPS losses would be great!
