There is competition for these leaderboard positions, albeit it's really only achievable to a few players now. I would also claim that having your avatar at the Eco spawn is also a reward. I certainly wouldn't be top of two of the leaderboards if I hadn't bought a rank, which raises the question of the server being 'pay to win' Another thing to watch might be the sale of crate keys on the webstore. The sale of these keys actually violate Tebex's own "Acceptable Use Policy" point 1.6. 1. You may not use any Tebex service for any activity which: 1.6 Is offering for sale any items involving gambling, or other activities where the reward/prize is based on chance, including, but not limited to casino-type games, betting on the outcomes of any event, lottery-type events or any other ventures that involve a purchase/entry with an outcome based on chance (whether or not legally defined as gambling), including "lootboxes" or similar mechanics under other names. They seem to have been turning a blind eye to it as pretty much every gaming server violates this. Tebex even use these items in their own advertising. All that being said, the server does have to make money else it wouldn't exist. So a change like this would need to impact all servers to be fair and until then, all servers essentially NEED to violate this rule, else they can't compete.
At last check, /lottery is still working and now all Eco players paying taxes are complicit in this activity if taxes go towards the lottery pool.
