Whoops I dont get it, they have full proof i have one, but they deny.

 

I'm not sure, but they must have their reasons. You should probably just respect the choice.

As for clear lag, it might be best to not transfer important items to chests after the warning, or use shift click so you don't accidentally drop it.

Sorry about your loss though. Hope you can get another one someday.
