Can we please set this. Everytime I die I always lose my items. Most recently I had 64 redstone, 5 iron ingots, and 15 gold ingots that I had spent the last 5 hours grinding monsters just for me to fall off my island and accidentaly warping to spawn. When I get there I die and someone else got my items and Since there were multiple people there I didnt know who got the items. I tried asking for my items back but nobody decided to give them. I was then out of 5 hours worth of grinding and now see no point in playing on this server as I have died several times and lost all my items because of the void. Also this is economy not survival so why is it on in the first place. Please leave thoughts, opinions, and if you agree Supports. Lets try and get this rule changed.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR .ORG NOT .NET!!!

I'm assuming this suggestion is for org, because you said economy at one point? I would support this for org, but not net.

Ehh, for me it's half and half.
Skyblock is supposed to be challenging, if you die it's your fault. But, it could be convenient
    .

Also, if you put water on your /home you can do /home when you fall and land safely in water.

No support at all. This might sound rude but it is your fault if you die. I personally used to want it but then what happens if you want to kill yourself with a full inventory which I do lots now. No support at all.

I'm sure not everyone want to die with full inventory usually.

So your telling me that for someone who has a hard time getting money and finally gets all these goodies should deserve to lose everthing they spend 5 hours working on. Your telling me that because you want to make it easier to get rid of stuff the multiple others of us should have to deal with us losing our items because we released shift by accident while buiding out? Thank you for being so caring.

I support. I may be moderately wealthy, so I personally don't care, but imagine this:

"Yay! I finally traded my way up to a diamond! I can't wait to-"
*Falls off island, warps to spawn because /home isn't safe*
*Drops all items because fall damage, loses everything*

If you can't afford /fly, this could happen. And it would SUCK.

Eh... Here's how you can prevent that:

    1) On net, put an ice block a few blocks above your spawn point
    2) Add light and wait for it to melt
    3) Once it's melted, the water block will remain in the exact same placed if untouched. The block will not disturb anything, and if you're falling in the void, you can type /home and basically fall in the water.

Or just type /spawn like previously mentioned.

    20% support.
Everyone loses their items when they die, common sense.
Yes, it's convenient. But it takes away the 'challenges' of Skyblock.
If you want to prevent falling to your death again, just add water to your spawn point and make sure you don't type /spawn when falling.

I understand but if you have a skyblock based around economy. Then why is there a need for challenges. If there were challenges in .ORG doesnt that defeat the purpose of .NET?

Well, tbh. There are no challenges on both servers. You set them up yourself.

    No support. Skyblock.net is survival
This means if you lose your items, tough. I have had to deal with losing valuables when I didnt have /god and pretty much since the beginning its been this way.
You keep your inventory, then the purpose of survival is lost (of course people that donate $100 get the luxury of /god)
You have to be smart when it comes to saving your items. Just, survive...

I believe that was a donor perk a long time ago. Anyways I don't support, it ruins the purpose of the survival and challenge of the gamemode.

Same reason on org except minus the part about survival.
Part of economy is spending and making money. There needs to be a challenge in making this money. If there is no risk at losing items then in defeats the purpose of the game, makes it too easy. Again, players need to survive while farming and making money. Its up to people to be smart and making sure they are careful.

When it comes down to it, org is survival with an economy/money.

Y whould there be a survival part to the game when its all about making money. You should at least have it so you can change whether you want it to be true or not. Cause I am sick of losing all the items I spent my time and money on just for some little punk to go and sell those items and make the money that was rightfully mine.

No support I dont play on .org very often but I play enough to know that dying is part of the process. On every skyblock you are literally supposed to die. I know it may not seem like it but its essential in so many ways. Losing money on bought things is normal. I'd suggest, along with Lemo's suggestion, making waterfalls flowing down to the void. This is very useful and if you have multiple ones, its more difficult to die to the void.
