I came across an application form that had 16 posts on it by 3 different people. 2 were mods. How many times do you need to show your support/no support? How is it not considered post farming? I suggest once to twice, unless the owner of the application asks you a question directly based on what you have said. Anything beyond that seems like trying to increase post counts.
no support. People have a right to post on applications as many times as they wont without spamming it.
Personally, I don't even think you need to comment unless you're not supporting. Most people only ever put "Support!" or something anyway, which there is now a button for, and most people support for the same reason if they do explain.
If the posts were on topic and not spammy, then they are legitimate posts. There is no reason to limit it, especially if it is only done in one section.
Woops, sorry, I deleted that after I said it, you aren't even the worse one, there. You don't, I do. I think it is post farming/spam and way beyond necessary to post 5 times on an application form when no one asked for clarification on anything you commented. Benji, I deleted it because I am trying not to be confrontational/specific, this post applies to at least 2 applications that I can think of right now.
You can be having a lengthy debate in regards to a person or talking with others on their opinions on the person. And while it may generate posts, if it's not just spammy then it's fine. Why is this an issue if they're mods? Please give us the application in regard to this, so we can all see the discussion you are referring to
Agreed, but as I stated above, "I suggest once to twice, unless the owner of the application asks you a question directly based on what you have said. Anything beyond that seems like trying to increase post counts." Friends of the applicant flaming the thread by questioning no-supports is out of line, however, and the applicant should be the one to decide which comments warrant attention or clarification and which don't. It is an issue if they are mods because we can get our comments deleted for being spammy, off topic or post farming or for being disrespectful, and theirs don't get deleted. USA - vfhuuuuu's Staff Application | Skyblock Forums This mod app was reduced from 8 pages to 4 and is now back up to 6. What the applicant has said or what his chances of being chosen are has nothing to do with making sure rules are enforced, even on his page. Other - SomeoneCalledJ's Moderator Application [NZ] | Skyblock Forums Look at the post farming in this thread. How many times can a person support a friend without it falling into the rules that cover post-farming and spam? If it is established that it is limitless, I have tons of friends applying for mod, too.
