    I request a name change awhile ago, it doesn't happen anymore, I got told if I want it changed just make a new account..

    You need to make a new account as cyp doesn't do name changes any longer. However in case for some reason he changes his mind...

    It was deleted but I know that deleted posts that I made from that account are still readable, which is why I was wondering if changing this forum account name would work rather than being unable to take the name by making another account.

    Well if that account was deleted there's no way to get it back which may make it ok to use but then again, it may not work and I guess if cyp will be willing to change it, then he would let you know if it can be done

    Its been done before, Sarcastiel got her forums name back after her old account with the name got deleted. Unsure how its done but Cyp can.

    I know that Jimmehh had his changed from "@Jim Hoekstra" so I guess it depends on whether he has time.

    I think he was one of the last name changes. If you go back through all the help sections there are requests from ages ago.

    Cypriotmerks has stated that there will be no changing of forum names or birthdays, if you wish to have a different forums name please make a new account.
