Implemented fix /repair & /spawner

Arghhh this is omega annoying! I can never personally remember how to change a spawner to a pig man and then there’s the cooldown and I have to end up checking the spawner list and then there’s another cooldown and I eventually get it right but then there’s another 5 spawners to change for the player.... you get the point! I don’t understand the reasoning at the moment for a cooldown on the spawner command, perhaps it was for lag when there was no spawner limit? There’s a limit on the amount of spawners you can have now so I don’t see why the cooldown for it cannot be removed (or at least for staff because people ask us to change theirs all the time and it’s not like we are grinding lol). As for the repair command, I agree that the cooldown should be lowered and removed for items that cannot be fixed, it’s probably to stop AFK miners I guess.

 

Yeah the cool down for /repair is to stop AFK Mining with the use of scripts to /repair every minute - as for /spawner the reason is a little different;
Back in the days of spawner changing on economy you could sit inside of a grinder spamming /spawner ‘creeper’ for example. Every time you did this the spawner would think it had been changed from a different mob and spawn them, therefore increasing the rate of spawning. This gave some people an unfortunate advantage as only some ranks had access to the command - not to add flooding the server with /spawner probably isn’t going to do any good.
However, if the cool down limit could be adapted for /spawn on sb it would be really beneficial.
I believe there are multiple ways to go around creating a cool down that works well for them;
- When /spawner is executed not on a Mob Spawner, no cool down is initiated
- If the cool down was modified entirely, it could be modified so if you use /spawner on one Mob Spawner, you cannot use the command on that particular Spawner for a period of time.

Sorry if that sounded a little confusing - I don’t know how to explain it

Definite support, I think it would be fairly simple for the server to check what Is in a players hand before executing the command.

definitely support it is annoying that it's 20 minutes like it would be okay if it was 5 or something but 20 minutes is forever when using shears i usually have to buy 5 more waiting to be able to repair that one i was using and it takes a lot of iron/ grass

 

Yeah it's a bit frustrating having to wait really long. Hopefully this wait time can be reduced a little bit. On top of the actual cool down, having to wait an additional 20 mins when you didn't actually use the command is even more frustrating. :/
