With the new farms many people need to remove 10s of thousands of dirt and sand. to spped up the removal why doesnt skyblock just offer the delete them using world edit and give the players back the materials this would raise tps faster as the farms would be destroyed faster and cactus farms which still work will be destroyed instead of left
World edit works with radius so removing all would not work, because there are islands with dirt and sand which are used for decoration. Also as far as I know, only Admins have access to Worldedit so removing the unneeded dirt and sand from each island would be difficult. No Support. p.s sorry for the world edit mistake
im well aware how worls edit wokrs and u can set an area not a radius. it not difficult at all (im aped on a server which has world edit) the main draw back is it would use alot of kerana's time to delete the 20-30 farms of this nature. yes only kerana could do this.
no support, I don't really see the need. While it is irritating to see a farm you worked very hard to build become useless, it doesn't warrant having Kerahna come in and delete your farm for you. If you were using one of those huge piston or cactus farms, you were part of the TPS problem. while I have mentioned that the piston limit is a little low, I presume it will be increased over time as players stop using unnecessarily complex farms in favor of the cropper. Hold on to those farms or improve them and get rid of your other farms and you'll be okay. (I'm not just talking to you, I'm talking to a bunch of people)
No support. This is a survival game after all. Might as well ask her to come and build the farm for you if you’re asking her to come destroy it. You have to put in the work to be able to destroy it and build a new one. The player built the farm, and so it’s only fair the players puts in the work to destroy it even if it means TPS may be a little higher for a little longer. There are players with thousands of dirt and sand and if they were given the option to have it all immediately given back to them, that’s loads of hours saved which wouldn’t be fair to someone with a smaller farm who didn’t need as much time saved. I don’t really see this as a fair option for people even if it’s convenient
No support, most of my reasons have already been stated. My main concern with it is it taking a bit of the survival part of the game if powers are used to remove farms. Although it's a pain for people, especially with bigger farms to have to destroy there's, I don't think this is too necessary
Well isnt equaly unfair that somone wasted 10000s of hours placing sand and dirt and now has to redo it all while the player who only placed a bit can quicly redo it
Well they didn’t waste it, they chose to make a farm big enough affect the overall TPS. They chose to make something that affects how fast the server runs, so they get to rebuild their farm with the new additions to help the server. They don’t get free handouts just for having a farm. It’s still their problem to deal with, staff can’t feed every little “want” that a player has just to make their life easier
many people were undr the inpression from staff that their farms wernt laggy (bdark said the farm wasnt laggy for me) I hand removed all my farms and it took a while
Either way, this is basically just a free handout from staff which isn’t how it really works. They decided to use that much dirt or sand, they can take it down and replace it
If you wish to profit on the server you must put in the work. We are not going to make it easier. People have already started fixing their farms and it is unfair that they missed out on profit while someone else doesn’t because they get their materials back instantly then can rebuild. Sorry but this is not an idea that is fair to the community and everyone should be spending their efforts on changing their farms rather than relying on a plugin
Just use a shovel and move yo lazy butt No support. Makes it way too easy if everything is just handed over to us
You might as well ask the moderators to build the farm for you. I think having to remove the dirt yourself is part of the survival experience like Calidre said.
