When I read your application

While now I feel like I know you more than just Artie's roomie, so I'll put forward my honest opinion of you.
Because my sleeping scheduled is ruined *cough* I've seen you often on .net, helping and gaining a reputation.

I honestly believe you'd be a good mod, alongside Artie, that timezone would be dominated. But of course Artie could teach you quicker than any of us can which is why I believe it would work.

I need to quote this post, because you have a very valid point. In the early stages, it would be a huge advantage in my learning to have Artie physically around to help. Besides that I really appreciate the feedback and support.

Which goes for everybody posting in here. All the support and kind words really puts a smile on my face Hopefully I'll be able to join ranks with some of the great staff members Artie speaks so kindly of

 

I'd most certainly have no issues getting you into the ropes, it's not that much of a learning curve. However, knowing your natural ability to pick up on things, I doubt it'll be necessary with much tutoring.

You do have a way with your words, however I do not see the potential yet.

I've never seen you in-game helping others, which is one of the many main points of being a Moderator.
I would suggest being active more, or more active in chat.
Also, since from what I know you are reletively new, I am unsure about how adjusted you are to the community, one thing I was unsure about Art as-well.

I also give 40 or 50% because I don't think mod should be decided purely on the application but in game helping too. I may support when you have more experience.

I put my support at 50% as I have never seen you in-game. Nice application though.

 

I strongly agree with the ones providing 50 to 40% support, as I am currently lacking the experience a lot of other moderators take with them upon entering their role within the staff. Experience is quite the big factor, when deciding a moderator role and it would be completely understandable to postpone or void my application on that basis, seeing as I very recently entered the community and still gaining a place within.

In response to being online and participating in the chat i would love to explain. I am quite often online and I enjoy participating in chats and other activities within the confines of the .NET server, yet I often have moments in which I am not familiarized with the personalities occupying the chat log. I would love to participate on various conversation, yet at some point i feel that they are somewhat internal and in that case, I would hate being the pushy newcomer who desperately wants to be friends with everyone. I already know plenty of lovely people within the community and I am gradually gaining more and more acquaintances, yet when I am not able to address these people specifically within the chat, I feel that a random comment on some other peoples conversation would be either annoying or resemble the scenario of talking to deaf ears, at least from my point of view. I personally prefer to slowly descend into whatever role in this community I might see fitting.

This application is an attempt to gain a helping role within the community as I currently use most of my time being creative in-game. I understand that I need to prove myself within the chat in order to be accepted, yet I personally prefer that I would gain the title, before providing too much help as it would put my input in another perspective than just promoting my helpfulness.

I apologize if this is interpreted in any negative way, yet I felt that I needed to provide an honest reply for any constructive criticism, as these are provided with the intention of letting me know what I should be working on.
