Hello everyone, thank you for taking your time to read through this. First and foremost, I would like to say that this will not get you rich and on /baltop instantly. This is directed towards the newer players that tend to find themselves asking the question, "Dang, how do people make money... I can't even make $1000" So, let's get into it. Firstly, I would like to mention a simple and easy tip. Do not buy things from the /shop. Some things you may have to buy from the shop, but most of the time you should visit other players' shops. For example, if you're making a cactus farm, the shop sells sand for $1,500 each piece, while other shops sell sand anywhere from $475-$600 each piece. When I first came back to the server, I would buy from the shop all the time, please do not be like me. Next, Profit Shops are your friend! There are plenty of profit shops throughout the economy to help players make some starting / extra money! If you are unaware of what a profit shop is, I'll break it down for you. Let's say I make a Pumpkin farm and make a chestshop for people to buy pumpkins for $20 per stack. In the /shop, you can sell a stack of pumpkins for $37.50 so you would theoretically earn $17.50 per stack! This is a very simple way to earn some start-up money as a beginner. Along with saving money by not buying through /shop, and profit shops, there are more cool features on Economy that some people glance over and don't do. Voting and doing /daily are good ways to make money every day. Voting can earn you a variety of items. Each vote comes with $500 and a voter key, which you can use at /warp crate to earn even better rewards. If you get lucky, you can even get rare items through voting! /Daily is also a really good way to make some side money, as you aren't doing anything but logging on to make the money. You can redeem a /daily reward once every 24 hours. For example, today I redeemed my reward and got a free $300! These 3 things will heavily increase your ability to Make / Keep money when starting out on skyblock! I will now list out some good islands to visit to find Shops, Profit Shops, etc! Some more tips: You may see people advertising casinos. I wouldn't play in these if you are tight on money. It would be much better for you to be making these casinos and advertising them. I'm going to make a guide on how to make the absolute smallest chest shop casino that I used myself to make some extra money. (It will be advertising buying stuff from /shop, but casinos are very profitable if you're the one making them. Als0, I found in your section about /shop you never mentioned that some things aren't worth selling to /shop. Sometimes, It's better to either find a chest shop to sell to or create a chest shop yourself. Another way of making money that I found was finding shops with items at low prices, and selling their items to people who buy those items for more money. There are two variations of this. You can buy things from someone's shop and resell at someone else's chestshop (usually adriansop, for things like iron and diamonds selling to adriansop is a good idea, but usually, people completely run him out of money) You can do this, or you can purposefully sell out a shop, and take their items and sell them in your chestshop. Here is an example of when I did it. So, I found out mathans (who has a great shop btw, check them out) was selling quartz for 80 each. And then I had someone selling out my quartz every time. Mathans had about a few stacks of quartz and I was selling at 100. That's 20 profit per quartz! If we multiply that by 2 and a half stacks (160) I made 3200 profit! I was only beginning a new island at this point, so this was huge. Sorry if this isn't very organized, I tried my best to make it as helpful as possible.
