Support. This would be very useful.

 

I've seen this on a modded server which has long since shut down due to the owner realizing that Lord of the Rings is a really nerdy server theme for Minecraft. It'd lag the server a ton, but it'd definitely be super useful. However, there remains the question on how these dropped item logs could prove that a scam took place without screenshots or recording.

Just because you dropped items doesn't mean a trade was agreed. Also, it'd be hard to interpret the logs, since multiple people could be dropping things at the same time, which would put multiple 'drop logs' in the same time bracket and thereby blur the data.

Finally, what if a vote party/drop party was taking place during the trade, and everyone was getting items deposited in their inventories? A simple solution would be not to trade during VPs, but I'm 100% sure people would do that too, especially if they weren't watching chat closely.

 

Support, if this is possible. It would catch a lot of developing situations from becoming more serious, and also help to keep more players actually on the server if they are able to get their belongings back easily.
