I was jus thinking the other day on other servers when someone buys a donor it says in chat something along the lines of: [Broadcast] Thanks (Player name) for buying (Donation Package) so for example: [Broadcast] Thanks, Mike70387 for buying: Skygod! Or something like that (obviously not now because Cyp/Crew are busy doing other things. Leave your feedback please, Mike
I've been on a few PVP servers that have this. It might inspire more people to donate to the server. Why not add it? Support
I know it seem like a good idea, but more spam is the chat is something that just haunts me. And its not like a lot of people donate at once, but, I think we have enough broadcasts and announcements? I dont know. I am leaning towards no support
I believe this would be good so when people are online and they donate it provides some proof. It isn't needed to much so I'm staying neutral.
Would it really spam that much? I mean I can't see org members donating every minute. I think it would be good to see whose donating and whatnot.
Yes why not? Also add a link to the donation page as this will mean it will make people more aware about the fact you can donate. Some people still might not know you can donate so... Support for now... Until someone replies with something that might change my mind
How many people donate every hour? Not too many. It won't really cause spam at all. It would be one line of chat so it doesn't really matter. I like this idea and as some people said, it may inspire people to donate. Let's face it, a lot of people like recognition for donating .
I don't think there would be that many people donating at once making it enough to spam the chat. It would probably appear up to 10 times a day on a good day
Broadcasts, clear-lag, people making up their own auctions, people talking, ma j... I think its enough. People are recognized for donating by the fact they permanently have a donor prefix. One announcement isn't really necessary. I would be more accepting of the idea on a smaller server where its more needed.
