Hello, fellow people of skyblock. I thought of writing a thread about an important and subject, to give this off-topic forum a serious tone. Those who care, read my thread, those who don't can just skip and leave their thoughts below. Discrimination takes place everywhere. White people say that white and black people aren't equals. White people know really well, that black people don't want to be called a 'n*****'. But they don't care, they still call them like this. White people are (in average) richer than black people since Africa is a third world continent on its own. The first world develops faster, works faster, it's linked to everything around the world. Africa is not able to do so. Not yet. To help Africa, to allow them to take place in our world normally, we need to stop racism and discrimination. In America, this has already happened. Black people count as normal citizens, they are allowed to do (almost!) everything. They are luckily equal with the Whites. But in Europe and Asia, black people are discriminated. Another important point is the lgbt-community. Gay people can't change their point of view towards people if they get told to. They can't just think and say, 'hm maybe it would be a better thing to care more about women than men'. This is not possible. If a person is born, and the gay/lesbian existence develops while puberty, they cannot change. They don't deserve to get bullied for something they can't change. Same with black people, we can't blame them because they are black, no one is able to change his skin colour if they get told to do so. People, no matter who, and no matter how they behave, do not deserve to get bullied if they can't change. A human is still a human. Same heart, same liver, same brain. Humans no matter who should be treated equally. Even here on this server, there is discrimination. Some call them 'noobs', some call them 'greenies'. Maybe some people don't want to be called a 'greenie', who knows. Just because you paid a horrific amount of money for a rank, that won't mean that you should feel superior. That won't mean that you can do what you want. That won't mean that your word means more than one of a 'Greenie'. I would love to have this place, skyblock.net and skyblock.org a discrimination-free place. At least you people should watch out for what you say and how you treat others- I am sorry for any grammatical errors, English is not my native language. Leave your thoughts below.
white people this white people that. am white, have had racist people jump on me, have never been racist myself.
Screw this "Black lives and White lives matter" stuff. All lives matter regardless of who you are. I hate being called a racist/discriminatory person. Unless you were a potato from Ireland, or goat from Italy, no one in my family hurt you. There's really nothing we can do to stop this. We can help it die out, but people will always be racist. Some leaders shouldn't condemn this though.
My ideology is that the term "greenie" is a derogatory word for default ranked players. They should just be reffered as normal players if I'm honest.
What bothers me is that some people use BLM as an excuse to go out and riot and loot and ironically start racism against all whites. Is BLM starting segregation again? If black people and white people would stop looking at each other by their color, that would end racism no doubt.. But there are some black people who live up to the stereotype and give us a bad name which isn't right, and it isn't right to stereotype all of us as being criminals and etc.
Dont discriminators ever realize they are writing in black text? They should write in white because they are white like le skin and why should they write in black if they hate black people lol. Logic? I dont think so. Ok
Comparing the aledged discrimination of "greenies" by "donors" with racism and homophoby sounds a bit rude to me. I mean, the first discrimination is such a vain first world Problem compared to the others...
