I hate it on MV when I say damn, or sucks, and it comes out "meep" or "meeps". Yeah, the pwnfilter meeps.

It's never been censored on any other server (or anything with 'censoring' for that matter) that I've seen. Doesn't seem like that damaging of a word, shouldn't be censored imo.
If we were to account for every ethnic group and religion out there, there wouldn't be a lot for us left to say. Honestly, you might as well just add "curse" to the filter, as "curse you" is practically the same thing as saying "damn." Add "ayyy lmao" while we're at it, as it might offend some highly intellectual individuals who dislike useless abbreviations. Either way, the usage of "damn" is highly contextual and shouldn't be regarded a religious term only, in my opinion. It's something used all the time to express awe, dismay, surprise, etc. I'm relatively sure that most of the time actual damnation isn't what we mean when we use "damn".

Why did you quote me? Because there is no doubt that remnants of the church's history on people live on. This to the point that Damn is considered a word by a religion that means something offensive and hence whatever the plugin maker deems is offensive will add it in. Theres no use to debate it. Pretty much all mods don't consider it offensive anyway. People who are religious are still iffy about it. Its how it is. But i dont care about the word.
I don't only quote what people say in order to disagree with them. I was adding on to what you said. I know you don't have an issue with the word. The only thing that bugged me was that you're saying religion massively influences the usage of the word. I like to think that it used to be considered bad. It's just a word like any other nowadays.
