Please read the entire appeal before saying "THIS IS A TEMPBAN, MOVED TO ARCHIVE" It is not a 6 hour tempban, as it has been saying this for 2 days, I've waited, and decided just now to post about it, I think it's because i got banned without a message, and it took the latest message it could give, since I got banned for 6 hours before, it just displays this. Server name (.net / .org): .net (??) In-game name: Strommaniac Full exact Ban Message: Temporarily banned for 6 hours (This has been there for 2 days now) Did you read the rules ? Yush. Why do YOU think you were banned? I have no clue, after I got permanently banned from .org, I decided to quit a bit for a while, and focus on my school, and my midterms. I remember a / multiple moderator(s) telling me I was more than welcome on .net, so now I'm just wondering as to why I'm banned on .net. I had spoken to creekz about a global ban, and thought we had resolved this? Why do you think you should be unbanned? I really don't know why you should unban me, I've done many thing that were harmful to skyblock.org. I do, however, want to clear up some things. In my old appeal, there was a line where i said 'dupen op alts', which people got translated to 'duped on alts' I have never duped on an alt. I do admit I played on one for the period of time I was banned, I didn't know this was that much of an offense, I'm sorry for this. The line however, would properly translate to 'to dupe on alts', it is something I said to a friend of mine right after I got banned, as that was what I wanted to do at the start, I decided not to do it as that would take away my very last chance at getting unbanned. I really would like to be able to play in peace again, as it's probably not gonna happen on .org again, I am just wondering as to why I'm banned on .net, I really just want to enjoy myself on skyblock again, and try to mingle with the people again.EDIT: The dupes i did perform on .org, were not to break the economy in any way, it was to gain an advantage over other players, money-wise. Could someone edit the title to put creekz's name in, as I'm fairly certain this has to do with his global-ban.
"I had spoken to creekz about a global ban, and thought we had resolved this?" Look up the old conversation if you want, I didn't resolve it with an unban. By globally banned I mean I IP-Banned you on both servers, not only for duping and threatening to ruin the economy but also for evading your ban by playing on a second account when your main account was banned.
But this was all on .org, wasn't it. what does this have to do with me playing on .net? EDIT: I'm banned from the forums at my dad's house aswell, does that mean I'm not allowed to post anymore?
The duping was only on Org, that is correct. But I take the ban evading and threatening to ruin skyblocks economy as a global offence. I will need a pretty damn good reason as why to lift or shorten your ban.
It was never my intention to ruin skyblock's economy, I wanted to get an advantage, as most of the dupers did, this was a mistake. I've learned from it. I don't expect you to just blatantly believe me, but please consider at least shortening my ban. As for the ban evasion, I honestly didn't know it was an offense, all I knew was... I was banned on my main account, my appeal was pending, and I wanted to play. So I did what I thought was a decent choice / option, and I started playing a bit on an alt, quit not too long after, since it just wasn't the same. I know I did bad things, and now I'm facing the consequences.
I will shorten your ban to 8 days, and this applies ONLY to Net. Consider it a week late birthday gift. You will be unbanned on the 30th of January at 12pm lunchtime GMT+1.
