I haven't been able to get on minecraft for like a week now and my computer and minecraft thought it would be fun to run over my hopes and dreams XD My laptop fan is broken so I can hardly do anything and now I cant get on minecraft due to crash reports...

Yes I am using a hack client, huzuni 1.7.10, the resoruce pack I usually use is Soartex_Fanver-1 and now for some reason its changed itself to an adverturetime one and I cant re-install Soartex_Fanver-1 for some reason. Any suggestions?
I've been told to ditch the hack client and play without it, but while we're on a help thingo maybe someone knows how to help me with this too, My laptop no matter what game- the brightness is always at its lowest, no matter how high the in game brightness I change it too it never works, so I need a hack client with "bright" so I can actually see minecraft+chat.

Try to use just the regular Minecraft client rather than a hacker client

 

I explained why I cant on that already XD the brightness is so low I cant see the game/chat

 

I know how to turn up the brightness on my laptop... XD I'm running windows 8 though and I'm on an acer (I can actually adjust brightness right off the keyboard, but there's also a menu off to the side in windows 8). If the brightness on your laptop is turned up to full then I would have no idea.

 

What are you running on?
(Mac,windows,Linux,etc,)

 

Just increase your Gamma in your minecraft instead of using a hack client. Also make sure your brightness isn't on Moody in Video Settings.

For the resource pack problem, in your download folder, do you still have it?

 

Go to your resource packs folder in your .minecraft and just delete all the crap in there for now. I recommend updating to 1.8 then going back and getting an updated version of your texture pack. The 1.7 version you were using could have been bugged and it would not get updated. Plus you can always try a default texture pack just to test if that is the reason causing your crashes. Also install optifine If you haven't already it just makes everything run smoother.

 

I can't really help a lot here but I can tell you soartex is rad c:

All I can think of is going through your minecraft folder and just deleting everything non-essential. It helped with my laptop crashing (but for a different reason, not minecraft).

 

I've tried doing that but sadly it still crashed when I re-install the hack client I used and soartex isn't detected .w.
but yeah its an awesome texture pack it looked really nice XD

I don't see why you need a hacked client and a resource pack when it's most likely the issue. Just turn up your gamma and use default.

 

Well I've always used a hack client when I played minecraft for the brightness, I never realized since now that I'm super paranoid about not having Tracer on which shows people around you and its actually making my anxiety act [insert "its just a game" insults here] but yeah, I've became too reliant of the few things the hack client did so I really want that back, and minecraft looks super duper odd without my resource pack...

Basically regardless if I figure this out I can't get in game until my computer is fixed but I'd like to know how to fix this problem and get past it incase if it ever happens again or if someone asks​
