If my coop leader does /changeleader Izzy4592 will the island disappear or will I just become the coop leader? Many thanks.

You will become the co-op leader.
Pretty sure the command is buggy at the moment though.

 

What do you mean by buggy? What will happen if it is buggy?

 

Meaning, it won't work.

 

There will more than likely be no leader, but only coop members.

 

If the coop leader does /coop leave the leadership is pasted to the coop member who has been in the coop the longest.
For example:
- Player A is the Leader.
- Player B has been in the coop for 2 months.
- Player C has been in the coop for 3 days.

If Player A leaves the coop, the new leader would be Player B.

So, if it's only you and the leader and the leader does /coop leave the leadership will be given to you.

I've tested this before but I am not sure if it's still the same. Last time I tried it was about a month ago.

 

It'll change the leader but last time i tried to trick my friend to do it (lol ) it said when he said /changeleader yes it said "you never requested to change the leader"

 

Now, when you do /changeleader it tells you to type the current leader and the new leader. All you have to type new leader. However, it hasn't been working.
As Ninja said, if you leave a coop as a leader, the leadership will be given to the coop member that has been on the island for the longest time.

 

Unfortunately this is a bugged command.
