I know that what I am about to say has been suggested numerous times on the forums, but I would just like to detail how I believe these features could work, to make them a little more realistic. Feel free to give no support and say that you've heard this countless times, but whatever.

I know that many on this server feel that the cooldown is, well, a little annoying. Why do we have to wait five seconds to teleport back home, or ten seconds to visit another island? Why are there command cooldowns? However annoying it is, I understand the reason behind it: the reduction in the prevalence of command spamming helps to reduce lag. I also, although it may not seem so at first, agree with the cooldown, but I believe there is a better way to go about it.

If we get rid of the cooldown time between each individual command, we can instead place a limit on the amount of commands that can be executed within a certain time frame. For example, we can say that /home can be used 5 times per minute (this is an arbitrary example), but successive commands would be possible. This would remove the possibility of spamming commands straight for extended periods of time, causing lag.

You may ask, "But wouldn't the commands, if they were able to be executed with no cooldown time between them but instead over a set time frame, also induce lag, if they are spammed over a short period of time?" Well, maybe you didn't ask that, but I did. Well, if commands are being spammed too quickly, then the cooldown time will also increase, significantly reducing the amount of commands that are performed at the same time, still having a similar effect to the current cooldown system. For example, if I spam /home as fast as I can, the amount of time until I can use /home will be two minutes, instead of one.

The reason I brought this to attention (and I credit anyone who has suggested this before, even though I haven't read their post, if they have made one), is because I realized that if I want to do /home just once, it would not contribute to lag spikes anymore if there was or was not a cooldown. If two people type /home a tthe same time, regardless of the cooldown, they will be teleported at the same time. Why have the annoying wait for those who rarely use the commands? This idea could be altered, and I hope you have suggestions (if you don't like this idea, feel free to criticize me, but I probably didn't need to tell you that).

It was removed. It comes back because everytime the server restarts it comes back. I believe Cypriot fixed it, if it wasn't removed after the restart I'll message him.
