so a long time ago I reached out to a mod in game and they were able to move my island right next to my friends island so that we could build a bridge to connect the two islands. is there still a way to do this now since it was almost 5 years ago that I did it before? I am asking because soon I am buying my friend his own Minecraft account and we would like to own our own islands, but still be able to build a bridge to walk from one to the other.
That isn’t possible. The only way to do that is create an island at the same time, however that doesn’t always work, and /ni replace wouldn’t work either, you would have to delete your current island
Hi, That’s no longer possible to do on any of the servers, it’s a luck game now to see whether you can get your island next to an alternate account or a friend. It’s possible, but very tricky!
As said above it isn't possible but there might be a way to make your islands next to each others but it won't always work. I suggest you join a coop and leave it so you don't have any island and then when your friend gets on, try doing /ni at the same time. It might or might not work but it's worth a try.
I tried doing that as well. Ye there's someone who haven't been online in 5 months infront of my island
As previous people have said, you really just have to get lucky and either create your island at the same time as your friend or find an active neighbor and buy their island. If issue has been resolved, may I lock this thread?
