I don't give infractions out for swearing. I just edit it if it is visible on the front page or excessive. I don't feel like its wrong to have punished for it though since uncensored swearing isn't allowed. But again I see where people are coming from where infractions should be reserved for serious things. Also it isn't fair to bring Clarity into this thread. If you really have a huge issue and think she is at fault for something, discuss it with higher staff. Staff can discuss about when to use infractions but how we use them should align with the rules. So if swearing is a warning then mute then thats what to expect if you swear and it isn't filtered but the word still a swear word. Common sense is swearing is swearing even if its not filtered.
Yes, but he didn't do it intentionally? It's not his fault that the filter doesn't work properly. And yes it was wrong to swear even if it was censored but literally nobody here gets warned for that.
But then it is up to logic: is the word used actually offensive, and is bypassing it actually causing offense.
