Christmas Drop party

    Why I think we should have it (explaining!):
    Well as most of you know we have recently had a Halloween drop party. Also in the past we've had a Christmas drop party. Well I think this year we should do it again! The reason for this is it adds new cool items to the Skyblock economy, it can make players become more 'wealthy' in diamonds, and also it's just a lot of fun! I know some of you will say 'no' because we've done this before and timezones but that doesn't mean that the reasons listed above aren't reasons!

    What it would be like:
    Well in the past as I've said we've had drop parties like this. I think it would be just the same as all the other ones. We could have it at spawn... Or I've seen a couple of threads that FreddoFrog has made explaining about a Christmas warp he's making right now (As of November 8, 2014). Also if Noobcrew decides for some reason that he likes the idea of a scavenger hunt, we could do that. But it seems highly unlikely so don't get your hopes up!

    PS:
    For those of you who think that the colors in this thread are unnecessary; it's Christmas colors! So deal with it :p. Also in the polls I'm not going to add a 'maybe' because people usually formulate opinions and then want to vote on another response later. Finally, thanks for reading!​

    SwimHornet I am trying to make /warp Christmas but need alot of help building otherwise it sadly won't be alble to happen, as of /spawn for Christmas warguy3 has one lined up that looks great :D It is REALY close to being finished so I think the drop will either be held there ,at my build (if finished and cyp accepts it) or on another server as a special scavenger hunt like Cypriot was suggesting before :)

    No...more...drop...parties...please

    Drop parties are horrible... just plain horrible. As Ive explained thousands of times there are three main problems:
    • Computer speed/internet speeds (lag of drop parties are intense)
    • Timezones (drop party is always on at the same time (give or take 0.5-1h) and therefore the same people get to participate, the same people miss out)
    • Drop party mechanics (certain people will be more likely to pick up the heads than others which is how some people ended up with more than one
    Drop parties are not fair and yes I might be bias because at least 2 out of the 3 logical problems are ones I face but i am not the only one.
    And why do we always have to have a new rare on holidays? I mean yes its festive, but we could have gone without a halloween even. We just ended up with more pumpkin heads.
    Now that cyp has more time to plan out an event, lets not say if will be a drop party. If anything it could be half dropped and half special event, something that ensures inclusion of all who wants to participate. Maybe hold non server events like a competition. Just anything that distributes the heads fairer than drop parties.
