Closed Carrot harvest competiton.

Good Morning strangers of skyblock !


Starting today I will be hosting the largest competiton I have ever done.

It’s quite simple, I’ll be raising my carrot count as i haven’t farmed any this year, so you may wonder ‘’how does a giveaway play into this?’’ well. It’ll of course be a competition.


You would be farming carrots and depositing them to me, Whoever farms the most carrots *Before* January the 21st* (date has been changed to Jan 8th for final dep) Will be the winner, But i know that not alot of people want to spend the holidays farming carrots. So…


3.5 Dc’s of grass blocks

1 Wreath dp head (2021)

3 Candy canes (2022)

1 Gingerbread house (2022)

1 Present (2020)

1 Carrot bag (2023)

1 Netherite scrap

Important edition to prize pool, You'll get a cut considering your procentage of carrots, as of current i am not 100% certain of the others rares value, but for Examples sake, let's assume all this amounts to 4,5. Now for further simplicity sake lets say 100 carrots gets farmed (NOT THE ACTUAL AMMOUNT OF CARROTS FARMED SO FAR) Now lets say, you farm 75% of thoose carrots, you'd receive a total of 3.375dc's in value.

It is highly unlikely anyone will receive ALL 3.5 double chests of grass in its pure form, due to some very low entries that are too low to give even a low value head, it is easier for me to set aside a part of that grass for lower entries rewards. of course, assuming that you farmed enough carrots for 3.5dc's you will receive as large of a sum of grass as possible + enough rares to make up for the gap in procentage to carrots.

All of those items will be getting gifted to all the competitors. Of Course the more carrots you farm the more Points you’ll have, The more points the better rewards. Now for the rules


You are allowed to advertise your current amount.

You are allowed to team up with another person (your reward will then be split in between the people in your team)

For your carrots to be counted you must deposit them .

The carrots will not be returned upon the end of the competition, Whatever gets deposited stays deposited

Everyone will win At Least a small sum of items / grass .

Common sense. (Everything you do must be legal in skyblock.)

If you team up with someone you must make note of that fact to me.

If you split teams / receive your reward split in between (for example purposes let’s say 3 people) yourselves, all three sides receive 33% (⅓) regardless of contribution (Be careful on who you team up with) Unless unanimously agreed to split another way.

Prizes are not set, if the 1st and 2nd place are behind one another by (example) 2 points they will receive similarly valued prizes. (ie, no scaling down the winnings ~ 1dc-1sc-,5sc)

Inorder to enter the giveaway you must set a deposit of carrots, No just saying you're entering and not depositing!

Mail me or preferably Dm on discord incase you want to set your carrot deposit.

I will *NOT* be talking about other peoples deposits, they themselves are free to mention how high they've come, however i will not be advertizing who's in the lead, noir answering when asked. (EDIT: due to popular demand, i will not be saying how much certain people have, but i will be stating their rankings.)




No more carrot deposits will be allowed after Jan 21st 3pm CEST (hoping that i got the time right) And the competition ends as a whole on Jan 21st 7pm. * (final dep is now on jan 8th)



* IMPORTANT EDIT! Due to me litterly not being able to keep up with shulkers to replenish the ones that get brought to me, Im ending the competiton on the 8th.

let the carrot games begin...

 

I'm either overestimating how many carrots I have or underestimating how motivated people will be to grow carrots over the next month. As for myself... to compete, or not to compete...idk.. jeez good competition idea TinyDuckie. Love it

 

Ooooh. So that's why my free carrot shop keeps being emptied...lol. Someone has taken 1.5 DCs of carrots from my shop, which is meant for new players...hmmm.... Not cool, dudes.

I still have a couple DCs of carrots in reserve, for restocking the free chests...and a fully automated carrot farm that produces about a DC per day while I'm doing other stuff. I usually just compost them. Guess I'll have to deposit them instead!

Edit: Looks like I can quadruple my output to around 4 DCs per day by just shifting my other fully automated farms to carrots...take about 15 minutes...and if I were to actually AFK that'd be 8 - 12 DCs per day.

It would have been so funny if this got cancelled considering how many carrots people were getting
