Hey Guys
I'm currently moving islands and my stuff is all in locked chests on my old island with my old coop member. There is now a protection thingy and I can't get any of my stuff. Is there any way of me getting my stuff back?

#1) Did you change your name in the process? That might be an issue.
#2) Did your friend kick you or even add you to the coop? Or did you just live there without becoming a /coop member?

If these two questions are answered further I can better direct you to what you should do to recover yor lost items! ^-^

 

So I left the island, leaving my homes there so I can go and get my stuff to put it back on my island (which my coop member was fine with) and now the new update came and put an island protection on my old island and I cant get my stuff.

 

Just look for an smod or normal mod in game and request for them to break the chests for you. As long as you can get to that island they will be able to do it

 

Ok, Gotcha...so the chests should not be protected because the update changed the signs to normal, BUT you are right about the island protection. That will not allow you to access anything until a /trust command is implemented. You have to contact a mod for further assistance.
