i've tried to restart my game also, but when i /fly i go up about 2 blocks and i hit some invisible ceiling and fall and cant fly again until i use /fly again and it does the same thing. *no blocks above me*
it started when i cooped with a nonrank to buy their (centered mapart perfect) island and then they left the coop. i wanna start the art and i haven't changed any settings and my auto jump is off. cyk couldn't do anything so i came here

 

Are there outlines of blocks on the ceiling (or a block ID of 'barrier', or anything, on the ceiling on F3)

 

Oh right, that's odd then, I'll let someone more experienced continue then

 

3 questions I have -
1. Are you using a hacked client?
2. What version of MC are you playing on? (Use 1.12.2)
3. Do you have sticky keys or any other typing modification enabled?

If none of the above work, I'll hop on and look for possible causes

 

I'm using 1.12.2 vanilla no mods, I tried it under my optifine (1.16.2), forge(1.12.2), and normal 1.16.2 as well. None worked. I don't have any sticky keys to my knowledge (no one else uses this computer). I'll be on right now and later tonight (est) I'm really hoping to make my mapart island canvas RIP

 

Ah wow. I may come on somewhere within the next 2 hours but I will be at school - I suspect its due to a worldguarded area that disables /fly, except I have absolutely no idea how there'd be one there in the first place...

 

Idk how to close thread but FIXED! I bought the island I was on off a nonrank because it was center, and they had hardcore on!! I had to reset and restart my game and I could fly thank you guys
