This morning the server started saying BungeeCord 1.8 next to it, and when I tried to enter it said Outdated server! Is this on my side or??

 

Try to close and restart minecraft.

 

It is probably something related to 1.9, try going on a 1.8 version on mc.
If it does not work, try deleting the server and retyping it.

 

The 1.9 update was released today. You can check which version you're running by looking at your minecraft launcher under your in-game name:

You can easily change this by clicking the box with "Edit Profile" in the bottom left corner. Once done, it should open a window where you can modify your settings.

When it's open, you need to select "release 1.8.9", and then "Save Profile" in the bottom right corner. Once you have done this, you can launch the game and access the servers.

Yeah, this helped me a lot.

 

Its because you have 1.9 on it said "Outdated Server" to me as well so it's because you switched to 1.9.

 

Just make sure you are on version 1.8, not 1.9

 

The server has not update to 1.9 (although it's said that it will eventually.) so just make sure you're not on 1.9, that you're on 1.8. If you don't know how to do that, just ask me. I had this same problem the other day.
