Hello,
When an island is generated there is also a small island beside it that is meant to help you but when i build over to it i didn't get anything and it was a waste of time and cobble. I am looking forward to you fixing this as i need the sand and cactus on the island.

 

There is no island that you should bridge to, because you only have one island. All islands live next to each other and are in the same world, but I can destroy the bridge for you and refund you cobblestone if you'd like.
