Hi everyone. Recently, I have been looking over our server's chat as usual and as I'm watching the chat, I realize that most of our new players are usually asking the same questions regarding to how to restart your island, how to get a pet, etcetera. As I'm answering most of these questions, I begin realizing that our non-donators or our default players don't have a broadcasting system besides our clear lag broadcaster and our vote broadcaster, unlike our donators.

If you are a donator, otherwise known as a 'donor', you probably already noticed that we usually receive broadcasts.

Some of our broadcasts will look like this:

Why should we enable broadcast for non-donators and default players? In my opinion, I think that we should enable our broadcasting system for our default players to see because with it, it can help many of our players in many situations like asking for lava. Lets see what would happen if we had broadcasting system for our default players in usual situations that most of our players would sometimes fall in.

"Does anyone have a lava bucket that I could borrow?"
"My lava has turned into obsidian, does anyone have another lava bucket?"


If we had the broadcast system for our non-donators or our default players, most likely we could eliminate illegal trades such as our most common one, bucket trading. Let's take another example.

"How do you go to the Mob Arena?"
"I want to get grass, iron, and many other items. How do people get these items?"


If we also had the broadcasting system for our non-donators and defaults players, we would probably have an increase of players in our Mob Arena since the broadcasts could help our Mob Arena gain publicity. Also, it might also encourage many of our new players that are in need of items to play our Mob Arena since it offers us plenty of rewards and a great amount of fun.

The following broadcasts could also be useful in situations like this:

"How do I reset my island?"


"Where do I donate to get donor?"


"Do we only earn grass from voting?"


"Is there a website that I could apply for mod at?"

Non-donors need it more than donors. Support.

 

Only donors seeing it is very weird. This has been suggested but not changed many times over. I support.

 

I didn't know that non-donors didn't see this, I was always thinking "don't they see the broadcast messages" when they asked those basic questions!

EDIT: Also, the great thing is, it's as easy as adding a permission to the default PEX group.

Only donors can see it?! I thought it was universal. For one thing, we really don't need the reminder for /warp donate. It's kind of useless for us. Same with the forums reminder. Support. Definitely support!
