So a couple of weeks ago I got the 50 dollar donor package which enable me to fly. After receiving this package I have been taking a look around the general area of my island and it really concerns me the amount of bridges there are around me and other islands that I have been to far, far away from mine.

I know that Mods must be extremely busy dealing with other important things but I think this is something that has gone out of hand in a way.

So I thought of this idea which may or may not be crazy. I though that there could be a new Moderator type that is dedicated to finding bridges and over sized islands. Because people that have just started are not capable of taking action against people that bridge, and I have noticed that usually the victims seem to be players that have started recently with not that much of an island.

Again, this might be a crazy suggestion but let me know what you guys think?

 

if you post some co-ords a Net mod could check them out, but do [ hide {Instert co-ords here} [ /hide ] when doing it so no randoms can go to ya island

 

the thing is, im not to worried about my own island because i have signs with strong warnings around every direction.
all i was saying that there seems to be a bit of an outbreak of them in other places that are less occupied by long time users.

what do you think about the new mod thing? does it seem like a realistic idea?

 

I'm a 100$ Donor And, I too fly around my island too see the progres and the size and such.
Wile I was flying around I once saw 1 island with 4 bridges starting there, and going all the way to nearby islands.
I think there should be more mods who take care of this because now it all happens without anyone noticing it.
Ecxept of the occacional donor that is flying around (and maybe even hackers).

 

Could I be one of those "bridge mods"(<-Sounds like a good name to me) (when the rank is made)? Or do I have to be more than just a 100$ donor.
I ask this because sometimes I just don't know what to do when I am on skyblock.net(ma j is always full(maybe a second arena is a good idea), no one ever notices my auctions...). I would also like being one because this way I will help the server with punishing(ban) bridgers.

Before banning anyone, I would take screenshots as proof of course. Maybe even talk to the to ask why they were doing it, or even ask the players to who the "bridger" was bridging if they agreed with the bridge.

Maybe you should consider the creator of this thread as a "bridge mod" too. Without him the rank would never be considered I think.

Also considder the creator of the thread, he's the one who brought us here.

You should only pick ppl who have already /fly. because they already donate and are "comitted" to the server, and then change the name to Bridge Mod () maybe even use other colors. Also maybe chose some skygods for the rank of "bridge mod".

 

Skyblock doesn't differentiate donors from non-donors, even if the idea is accepted, with in my opinion I dount will, I think that Skyblock will pick non-donors as well, there as some inspiration non-donors who are mods on the servers so =P,

I am not applying I'm just saying that if there will be such rank I would like to be part of it, also if you read what krissy_punk wrote, you either have /fly (it means you donated) or it should be given to you. When I said to pick donors for that rank I said that because most donors already have fly, that's the only reason.

 

No way this could ever happen. We are already overstaffed and could not afford to create a new and pointless Staff position.

Kinda pointless. Also, there will always be bridges. No mod will spend hours on end searching the entire world for them.

 

Being a moderator isnt easy, and giving a random donor or somebody who can fly, the ability to ban and logblock is Not a good idea,
